Gary is the Co-Founder and CEO of Colorado Avid Cyclist.  A cyclist and racer most of his life, Gary raced for various teams throughout Colorado, most recently and currently, Groove Subaru/Excel Sport Racing.  in 2022 Gary and his partner founded Colorado Avid Cyclist as a expanded blog and resource for cyclists  throughout the state.  Through their combined efforts and an obvious void for this type of site, CAC has grown to be a premier resource for cyclists of all abilities and interests throughout the state.  Gary’s interest in bicycle advocacy has led him to be involved and support Bicycle Colorado as a corporate sponsor.  A recent bicycle crash involving a truck that Gary was victim to, and subsequent Facebook posts, caused a series of events that resulted in the formation of the Colorado Avid Cyclist Community Outreach Program with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.  You can read more about this on our Advocacy page.
