Coming back on July 12, 2025, we are building what we feel is one of the most inclusive gravel races in the world. We believe everyone should feel welcomed and encouraged to ride and we are doing our best to make that happen.

Our courses are also some of most challenging. This was not our original intent — but when we started building the course from our regular rides, we realized there were very few other races that have as much climbing, as many technical sections, and all at an elevation of 8,000-10,300 feet. Our courses pay homage to the hardened miners, dreamers and misfits who came before us as we ride through ghost towns, past mines and up mountains.

We are excited to bring you better Ned Gravel in 2025 and we are making some changes to make sure we can do that.

• The biggest change for 2025 is the elimination of our Ultra Course. This was a very hard decision to make since we love this course and are blown away by the riders that choose to take on this challenge. However, due to low participation combined with an increasing need for resource allocation to other parts of the race course, it just no longer makes logistical sense for us to offer it. We are now better able to reallocate resources like flaggers, police officers, medical staff and communication staff to other parts of the course. This will create a safer and better experience for the 98% of riders who do not do the Ultra Course. We understand that some will be really disappointed about this and I am happy to answer any questions you may have.
• We are excited to partner with the newest shop in Boulder, Cassiopeia, to host all of our group rides out of. If you haven’t been there yet, you need to! Monthly group riders will start the Second Saturday of January. We are looking for more group ride leaders. We need people to help, lead as well as sweep each group. You don’t need to be the fastest or strongest rider, just willing to have a good time and be a welcoming face to new riders!
