Martin Luther King Jr., Hero, Leader, Legend…Cyclist?

105 West was started as a local community brewery and has never lost that feel. We were founded in 2015 by local Homebrewer and Army Veteran helicopter Pilot, Eric. Our main goal was to make a variety of great craft beer and serve it in a tap room that builds long term friendships and relations.
Their beer is designed to be among the best. With 2 Great American Beer Festival awards, we think they are doing pretty well. With a clientele ranging from every walk of life, they are easily the most popular and friendly brewery in Castle Rock and well beyond that, attracting customers from all over the state. Not only that, but they are also the home base to 2 cycling clubs: Trails and Ales, and their own FOCH Gravel club.
You’ll notice our tap room is a little different. It warm, welcoming, friendly and we prohibit tipping the servers. All our servers are paid higher wages and many work in multiple areas of the brewery. We wanted to ensure wherever you worked each day your pay was not subject to the whims of a busy night at the bar. We feel we succeeded with the friendliest staff around willing to talk to you about our beer and much more. If you do happen to leave cash behind, we do take it! We give it to a local non-profit of the month to help build a better community.
If you come there after a ride at Ridgeline or the Mac…or a road ride, you will not be the only one parking his steed there, wearing a kit, and walking in to grab a pint. Check the event calendar on their website at www.105westbrewing.com to see when their cycling clubs meet as well as what great brews on tap and what food truck will be parking on any given day.
If you come in, mention that you heard about them on Colorado Avid Cyclist.
See ya there!
